If there is someone that I should look up to, it is him. "War Photographer", a film I watched some years back, is the first time I heard of his name. I don't remember a lot about the film, just some images here and there, but the feelings - Pain, sorrows, simple joy, anger, panic - evoked from the film is still very strong. The ultimate emotions felt are extremely disturbing and whatever comfort zone I am in has relegated to zero. For someone who is not used to seeing these images, certain scenes are really very difficult to stomach. Many of his pictures make me feel very small and afraid. I really do not think I can handle the same situations that he has been in again and again. I surrender.
